Not every couple wants a fancy wedding. Some couples are private and elope. Others are on a budget and can’t afford a fancy wedding. I have two great options for couples who don’t want to deal with the inconvenient courthouse wedding process. It’s like going to the DMV, but worse!

Courthouse Wedding Process: Those who decide to make it legal at the courthouse must bring two witnesses (18 or older) with them to the justice court in downtown Phoenix by 4:30pm, deal with rush-hour traffic, one-way streets, downtown parking, then wait in line with everybody else until the judge or justice starts signing at 5pm. The court charges $100 and only accepts cash. If you’re going on a Monday or Friday, plan on being there for several hours!

The Solution: If you have your Maricopa County marriage license or license issued by any county in Arizona, I can greatly simplify the process. Weekend evenings are generally excluded, but it’s even possible to get married today!

$150 includes: Want to simply make it legal? Come see me with your two witnesses and I’ll sign and then file your marriage license to the county recorder. You don’t have to inconvenience your witnesses by dragging them downtown during rush hour to wait around at the courthouse for several hours, or have to deal with filing your license yourself.
$375 includes: Everything from the $150 package and a wedding ceremony. Plus, I’ll come to you. You’ll have the opportunity to choose readings, vows and ring exchange ahead of time, and you’re certainly welcome to write your own vows.
